Does your husband say ugly things?

My husband got angry at me last night and lashed out beacsue I didnt talk to my daughter (his step daughter) about an issue when and how he wanted me to. I told him my plan was to talk to her about the issue when she got home from work. "You Lie!" he said. "You're weak and you have no backbone!" Those were just the things I remember clearly, but he said other things too. I guess I subcounsly block it out his words out as a form of self defense. Anyway it hasnt set with me well ever since. I am tryign to forgive but my resentment (and growing hatred) is overcoming me today. I don't ever say mean stuff back because it serves no purpose and its not my nature. What are your thougths? than kyou for answering. Nto feelign so great today :(
