I am white and a german guy didn't like me because of that?

my ethnicity is latin i am from South america i live here in the U.S but my race is white. Anyway there was this white German guy. We became friends and he said he loved my personality but he said he wouldn't date me because he wanted to date an indigenous native american mexican girl. just because she is very dark. He says that she looks exotic. And that he loves latina women but not the white latinas like me. i felt very disappointed because it's not my fault i have his same skin tone. And i like white guys and i am white myself, but i encounter discrimination from the same whites. Some white american guys hit on me but once they find out i am not an american girl but a white latina they seem to not want anything with me, even though i am from the white race. And this other white german guy doesn't like me because i am not dark. i am just so frustrated. My preference is white and that's what i really like. And i don't think it's fair that my own white guys discriminate against me. What should i do?
